Thank you for your interest in the Farmland Preservation Division and ADFP Trust Fund.

There are many resources available for county governments and conservation non-profits that are interested in growing agribusiness and preserving farms and forests for future generations.

• All applicants for conservation easements, agricultural development projects, and agricultural plans must be non-profit conservation organizations or county agencies, per N.C.G.S.106-744. Farmers, landowners, and others interested in applying must partner with a non-profit conservation organization or county agency to participate in an ADFP Trust Fund grant proposal.

• The ADFP Trust Fund's request for proposals is open each year from mid-October to mid-December. Eligible applicants may apply for grants for conservation easements, agricultural development projects, and agricultural plans during the open application period.
